Walking along the lonely road
I stumbled on a stone carving.
It read travel will be lonely
If you don’t love thee
Thy heart is the best company
When thee feel worthy
Pausing for a moment
Stewing my memories
Only hurts and failures
Flashed in my mind
I despaired and cursed
Never should have paused
Wisdom thoughts bygone
Won’t I eager to go on?
Feel the breeze flutter
And enjoy the sudden shower
Play in the winter snow
And sing along with cuckoo
Won't I gorget the twists
And tales already seen
And wonder the next turn?
With love for my soul
And rhyme to cajole.
