I have heard many speeches right thru my school and college at impending departures ..farewell lectures from emminent people..Some have made me tearful.. some made me to resolve to do my best ...but most I have just let go without any thought..
Unlike my usual tendency to dispose such speeches...as one needs to hear and then shed.. almost after three years from college I came across Steve Job's ( Apple Corp ' CEO) speech http://news-service.stanford.edu/news/2005/june15/grad-061505.html at Stanford's graduation ceremony.I felt he has not only appealed to student community but anyone who is young at heart!!! He has shown how incomprehensible events will become clearer when you look back...
How true!!! Really inspired , I pondered over his speech and decided that I will always strive to do what I love! and never bother about results.. :-)
Till you wait how I implemented my resolution this year...For secrecy I am not going to reveal what I am up to.. :-)
