The team I worked on is a blessed south Indian team. We are a three, one from AP, one from Kerala and I from TN. At lean times (when we are doing strategy planning for our future work) we use to exchange observatory notes (raillery) about each other’s state conscious egotist behaviour.
It was very hot and humid that day and as well drizzling. My friend exclaimed “kurukkanukku kalyaanam”!! After seeing our puzzling looks she explained – When there is both hot sun out and a pleasant rain around, they call it as folk’s marriage in Kerala.
We asked folks marriage?? Yes she replied F – O – X, folk’s marriage. We both erupted into a fitting laughter. She got angry and said, “Look who are laughing, you will say it as FAX marriage and FOLKS marriage is hundred times better than FAX marriage.
And we came to a conclusion, FAX marriage and FOLKS marriage, they are equally better than FOX marriage
What do you readers say??

A question of marriage
I meet you after so long a time. Was that four five years back we met last time? We smiled and thanked Orkut for bringing us a chance to relive our friendship moments. It’s when you asked me that series of questions.
Friend - So when are you tying a knot??
Me – Err. It didn’t happen so far. Will let you know. Its men who do this any way)
Friend - why so late?
Me - I don’t feel so, anyways, parents are searching for rightful groom.
Friend – is that it? Or have you found some one??
Me – (deliberate coughs). No am not smart like you :-)) And besides, I have some other errand... Nice talking to you after a long time. Bye...
Friend - Oh sure. Send me invite and I will come and tell your hubby all the good things about you.
Me – Sure, ttyl
Apparently such conversations are my Achilles heels. I am a person, full of thoughts, ideas, interests, worries, excitements, fears, humour ... Isn’t there anything else to converse when you get to meet after so long? Yes marriages are important in every person’s life, I agree, but is it the only mission to be accomplished for you and only question you can search to ask?

Woman's day
It was Woman’s day. Or probably was that on the next day? Few projects were celebrating woman’s day for the whole month (Woman’s month). Colleagues in my project wanted all of us (ladies) to come in traditional dress on this auspicious day. A way of celebrating!! (Way of screaming that we are part of society from Venus and it’s our day :-)). I love saris, for its majestic and the professional look; it has always been my favourite attire. But such a deliberate attempt as this one? It some how didn’t look fitting for Woman’s day. Can all of us wear the traditional dress and mark the Woman’s day over??
Nevertheless I didn’t want to be the one Odd Woman Out and so there were lovely colors fretting around in an otherwise monotonous cabins with white false roofs. I was the greener one.
Now you will ask why this blog entry?? It’s just a namesake entry for my own abstract thoughts with no reasoning.

Idle ( Software Engineer's) mind is a philospher's workshop??
Things happen in the most unexpected way.
Never wait for second chance. Grab the first one.
A duck in hand is better than two waiting to hatch.
You stay not to chose something, and it turns to be a better option and you waited for the better one, and it turned to be worse..
Do you think these thoughts are provoked at times of diversity ??
hehe.. nope
Myself and my colleague thought of all these, when we were waiting for elevator to goto theground floor from 7th. "Elevator I" stops in each floor while going down, so we thought it would be slow and didnt board it when it stopped for us. while we stood watching, it seemed to go faster."Elevator II" stops only in 7th, 6th and 5th floor. That time it seemed to be faulty or was that the design?? It didnt wait for us :-). We explained ourself that the elevators were crossing 7th at same time and hence second one didnt stop.
Philosophy can find its way even when you are waiting for an elevator :-)
Perhaps its better not to wait for the elevator, rather climb down the stairs ??
"Than Kaale thanakkudhavi" .. (Believe on ones own abilities) Gosh!! Again am hitting on philosophy. Next time I should see whether I wait for elevator or go by my workshop's thoughts.

Good primer for a difference
A good read if you want to appreciate Math behind Carnatic music. For those of us who know carnatic music as combination of swaras but transparent about the system behind, here you go -

OK now for little rambling,
what do you do when everything seems to marshal forces to penalize you @ off ??
I thought a lot and decided to be quiet for some time. Read some where - shouting when you are in deep shit will attract more of the same.

blogging mania
I am also joining the club of blogging mania..
Reasons
first :I have come across blogs of my friends whom I cherish .. With whom every day I bear a wishful thinking to share more moments together..Some of them live in other part of this world.. We call it as global village..Why Not!!.. reading thro those blogs gives me an incredible pleasure of being with them.
second: Escape from this insane cycle of coding , review and documenting to bring out software my vendor appreciates, but doesnt stand any value to my satisfaction :-)
third: just for the heck of it :-)
Now i have a bus at 9:00 p.m. which takes me thro the metro with amazing !!galloping ride for one hour. Though it has given me the chance of watching anonymous characters...
Sleeping beauties.. - inspite of FM cacophony and bumpy jerks..
impatient d(r)ivers - Who start honking evenwhen the signal is RED and three more seconds to turn green
Mobile engineer -Not what you think - people who are born with mobile - If i have liberty to say.. Truly mobile people..
and lot more I will list.. Now I am winding up my DAY
